Annual Legislative Wrap Up Districts 10 & 11
Our annual Legislative Wrap Up session promises a morning of insight and networking as key figures from the Maryland political and business landscapes gather to reflect on the recently concluded state legislative session.
Kicking off at 8 am with light networking, attendees will have the chance to mingle and connect with fellow professionals and policymakers, fostering valuable connections and exchanges.
The session will commence shortly after 8 am with Andrew Griffin, the VP of Government Affairs for the Maryland Chamber of Commerce, who will provide a comprehensive summary of the legislative session from a chamber perspective. Griffin's expertise will provide attendees with a detailed overview of the legislative achievements, challenges, and implications for Maryland's business community.
We will shift to representatives from County Executive Johnny Olszewski's office, including Jonathan Sachs, Director of Economic and Workforce Development, and Amanda Carr from the Office of Government Affairs. Both will provide local insights and county perspectives.
At 9 am, our distinguished panel of elected leaders will include Senator Shelly Hettleman (D11) and Senator Benjamin Brooks (D10). We will also hear from Speaker Pro-Tem Dana Stein (D11), and Delegates Jon Cardin (D11), N. Scott Philips (D10), and Jennifer White (D10). We also welcome Speaker of the House, Adrienne Jones (D10). This panel will offer firsthand insights, analysis, and perspectives on key legislative initiatives, decisions, and their impact on Districts 10 & 11, as well as Maryland as a whole.
At 10 am, the floor will open for questions from attendees, providing a unique opportunity for direct engagement with the panelists.
